Description

Brij is currently seeking a talented JD Edwards Developer to join our growing Service Delivery team. The successful JD Edwards Developer candidate will be a highly experienced professional and team player, with a true consultant mindset, and passion for delivering quality results.


The primary responsibility of the JD Edwards Developer is to successfully and independently perform Oracle JD Edwards consulting and support activities including solution design, development and implementation. This role will work with clients and cross-functionally with members of the Brij Service Delivery Team to ensure timely delivery of projects and support requests.


Responsibilities

  • Perform design, configuration, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of JD Edwards applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to gather requirements and understand business processes.
  • Customize existing JD Edwards applications to enhance functionality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to JD Edwards development and support activities.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in JD Edwards development and support.
  • Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.6 (Release 22 or higher), providing application and interface support for Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Human Capital Management.
  • Thorough experience with JD Edwards development tools including OMW, RDA, FDA, and BI Publisher.
  • Experience with Orchestrator is required.
  • Experience with upgrades, migrations, and 3rd party integrations.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid analytical skills with a consultative approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high quality written documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Distraction-free remote workspace/home office, with ability to join video meetings.
