Job description

Why do we need you ?

The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) reports to the District Manager and coordinates sales activities within the territory, creating added value for the customer with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plans and growth actions
  • Define sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across utilizing a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
  • Provide solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken
  • Build long-term relationships with customers ensuring that service needs are fulfilled
  • Network through active participation in industry association events and committee assignments
  • Actively work with other departments including manufacturing and logistics to ensure customer service needs are met
  • Identifies bottlenecks in service delivery and works within the Company to resolve issues
  • Coordinates sales activities with team members in business development and application specialists

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $85,000 to $100,000 per year, plus commission, however the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 5% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $90,000 to $105,000, plus commission. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
