Premier Research is looking for a Resource Planner I or II to join our Resource and Planning team.
 
The Resource Planner supports all activities associated with resource planning scope or scheduling and has an understanding of project management for a project. This role may support staffing assignments on potential awards, new awards and ongoing business.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Liaising with internal customers to review contract/budget areas which impact planning of projects or assignment of staff required to manage project work
  • Maintaining and overseeing staff tracking assignments and providing updates as needed regarding availability and assignment status to ensure projects are staffed appropriately as defined by budgets
  • Ensuring quality scheduling data through ongoing review and monitoring of plans and ensuring the resourcing system is kept up to date.
  • Understanding and / or analyzing resourcing and capacity information across the organization.
  • Matching staff assignments as closely as possible to budgets/change orders in order to maximize profitability.
What We Are Searching For:
 
BS/BA degree (or equivalent) and 2-6 years direct experience; or an equivalent experience of 4-7+ years with direct resource planning and scheduling responsibilities within a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment
Experience mentoring and coaching team members (for level II)
Experience creating internal training materials, proactively managing time and project requirements based on study deliverables, developing SOPs and WGs related to forecasting, planning, and resourcing (for level II)
Good understanding of Pharmaceutical and CRO processes and knowledge of Project Management methodologies within the industry 
MS Project or similar project scheduling software training/qualifications desired.
