Techno-Functional Consultant :

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Techno-Functional Consultant in Data Governance to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both the technical and functional aspects of data governance and will be responsible for ensuring that data governance initiatives align with business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and project management skills to implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance Implementation:
    • Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, including data policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical leadership in the integration of data governance tools and platforms with existing systems and data architecture.
    • Assist in the configuration, customization, and deployment of data governance software.
    • Support data quality initiatives by implementing data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring processes.
  • Functional Analysis:
    • Conduct detailed business requirements analysis to identify data governance needs and objectives.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data governance solutions.
    • Work with business users to ensure data governance processes are well-understood and adhered to.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage data governance projects, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any issues encountered.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data governance initiatives.
    • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on data governance principles and practices.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure that data governance practices comply with relevant regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws.
Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until Oct 13th 2024.
