You will be challenged in an organization that values vision, execution, and persistence. You will take ownership of our product by solving complex problems in simple, elegant ways. Product designers at Squarespace are embedded within product teams that are deeply collaborative, and each member is directly responsible for the team’s success.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Content team within the broader Website organization. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a crucial part of the website-building journey by empowering customers to get their content ready, from managing assets in the Asset Library to leveraging the latest in Generative AI. You’ll play an important role in shaping how content readiness evolves with AI-driven tools and features. This role also offers numerous opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Commerce, Template Development, Marketing Tools, and Growth.

You will report to the Sr. Design Manager on the Websites team. We are open to hiring remotely for this role.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on evolving solutions that equally support our strategy and user goals
  • Take the initiative for work from concept and discovery through delivery and beyond
  • Collaborate with up-stream and down-stream product teams to ensure a consistent user journey
  • Be data-driven and have an interest in measuring and improving the experience
  • Facilitate user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency

  • Relevant experience with research, sketching, wireframes, visual design, design systems, and prototyping for product experiences
  • Proven ability putting yourself in the customer’s shoes and coming up with ideas that are relevant and enticing

  • Deep passion for our product and the impact that it has in the world
  • Demonstrate clear application of service design and information architecture
