Job description

As a Global Data Lead for Raw materials and Packaging - Connect PPG program you will work with regularly with Business Process Owners, Regional Business Teams, IT Data Conversion Experts, and other colleagues in coordinating data conversion, cleansing and migration activities across all businesses and regions. You will provide expertise and guidance to ensure all data conversion activities are executed on quality, on time, and in full according to the key milestones of the project plan. You will be primarily focusing (but not limited) on the Raw Material and Packaging domain and you will be collaborating across all functional areas to ensure that end to end processes are validated.

You will report into the Connect PPG - Procure to Pay stream, S/4 Transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a complete understanding of the data model for the relevant domain and how it affects end to end processes across all functional areas.
  • Develop a complete standard data definition for the domain across all global business units, in compliance with ConnectPPG.
  • Ensure all data conversion activities are listed, communicated, processed according to plan. Report progress to Project Management Office.
  • Support S/4 implementation team in developing, validating, and implementing business specific use cases and test scripts related to Material domain.
  • Understand SAP S/4 system capabilities for its specific process area.
  • Lead and coordinate data defect management, support testing by prioritizing issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Data Migration/Data Implementation with a focus on ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge of best business practices for Materials or Raw Materials data migration and validation.
  • Previous project management experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel for meeting domestically but occasionally internationally if not located within the Pittsburgh, PA area.
