We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects within the wastewater, sewage works, and dirty water sectors. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage projects across various sites, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee mechanical projects related to wastewater, sewage works, and dirty water.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including SMSTS/SSSTS.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Handle project documentation and paperwork efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the wastewater, sewage works, or dirty water sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
SMSTS/SSSTS certification is essential.
A gold or black CSCS card is required.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
Previous experience with project documentation and paperwork.
Ability to travel to various sites as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
