About The Role:

This role is responsible for providing Specialised & Advisory Valuation Services in a manner which positively, pro-actively and successfully pursues core values, culture, staff development plans, income diversity, maintains and grows current client base, and delivers outcomes aligned to the approved business plan.

Growth of the existing client base will necessitate expansion of the team to service this client base.

The strategic motivation for this role is the provision of specialist quality valuation reports in an efficient timely manner whilst providing client service levels and standards as set out by the Head of Department- Middle Markets.

This role can be based in the following locations and surrounding including - Sydney, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Byron Bay.

In addition, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Work co-operatively with the Specialised Real Estate team, Heads of Department and National Director – Specialist Real Estate to assist and drive the implementation of the business plan.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients leading to an increased market share within your area of specialisations.
  • Provide reports to the Head of Alternate Investments, National Director – Specialist Real Estate and other key stakeholders as required.
  • Effectively engage and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely outcomes of business priorities
  • Support change management initiatives throughout the Business Unit to ensure the organisation continues to grow and evolve with a highly skilled, willing and adaptable workforce
  • Support, develop and mentor Valuers, Graduates and Assistant Valuers ensuring that processes and standards are effectively delivery and adhered to
  • Develop technical capabilities of the team across the region/ organisation
  • Position oneself as an expert of Specialist Real Estate instructions providing guidance and mentoring to other stakeholders as required. 

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years as a Certified Practicing Valuer
  • Panel valuer or similar industry experience
  • Post-Graduate Qualification
  • Associate of the Australian Property Institute
