What will you be doing?

  • Drive Profitable Sales: Effectively sell the SPM product portfolio to achieve sales targets for the territory, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Territory Management: Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the territory, including customer profiles, business potential, purchasing processes, competitor activities, and market trends. Utilize this information to develop strategic plans for territory growth.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, business prospects, and competitor activities. Additionally, deliver quarterly reports on sales performance, territory business plans, and market trends, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify Business Opportunities: Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers and potential new clients. Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities, fostering growth and expansion.
  • Customer Engagement and Support: Provide technical advice and training to customers on Smith & Nephew products, ensuring high levels of user competence and satisfaction. Follow up on all sales leads, customer inquiries, and requests for assistance promptly, delivering exceptional service and maximizing sales opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues from other parts of Smith & Nephew to leverage cross-business opportunities within the territory and enhance overall company performance.

What will you need to be successful?

  • We are seeking a candidate with preferably 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with a background in ortho or sports medicine
  • Experience working in a hospital environment is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in English at a good level is required, along with excellent communication skills
  • We are looking for a self-directed and self-motivated individual who demonstrates learning agility and persistence in overcoming challenges
  • You should also possess strong collaborative abilities and a results-oriented mindset with a focus on achievement.
