The SDR’s primary objective is to enhance the value of our portfolio by contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company alongside the Sales team. The SDR acts independently to identify & prioritize ideal target prospects through inbound and outbound lead generation in our strategic/enterprise sector. The SDR uses their own discretion and independent judgment in communication with potential and current strategic/enterprise clients through highly customized outreach to inform, educate, answer questions, send resources and discuss budget.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Develops growth strategy plans to effectively prioritize sales efforts
  • Develops sales pitches to sell products/services
  • Manage initial prospect/customer contact, meeting organization, engagement with other departments, understand needs and discuss solutions
  • Actively manage, document and communicate with prospects/clients through accurate and timely lead management
  • Engage prospects by use of a multi-channel approach with highly customized outreach to inform, educate, answer questions and send resources
  • Builds relationships with prospects through outreach/maintains relationships with current clients through cross-selling activities
  • Log details of every interaction with prospects/clients within Salesforce
  • Be a subject matter expert on our business products and remain up-to-date on industry news & trends

Work Experience: 

1+ year work experience as a SDR, Sales Account Executive or similar role
1+ year hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo preferred

Skills:

  • Strong phone presence with ability to overcome objections professionally
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, active listening and written
  • Ability to proactively seek and qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Highly customized outreach and appropriate/timely follow-up & documentation 
  • Curiosity

Additional Comments:

Travel will include attending trade shows or conferences where there is potential to interact face to face with prospects/clients. The SDR independently represents the company at networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads.
The SDR will also acclimate new hires to the business and conduct training sessions (industry/market segments) as needed.

The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $50,000/year and $60,000/year + incentive. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
