Position: Senior Tax Manager, Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to build and nurture client relationships while managing tax engagements for a diverse range of clients, primarily corporate. This person is preferred to be in the Pacific Time Zone - Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work directly with the clients, manage tax engagement teams, and work with other technical specialists to advise clients on a variety of complex issues.
  • Use your experience in accounting and taxation to provide planning, research, consulting and compliance services to clients in the real estate sector to assist clients in achieving their goals and objectives.
  • Managing all aspects of technical planning, research, consulting and compliance for Corporations and their owners.
  • Mentor and develop junior associate’s by providing performance feedback and guidance to help them develop their technical and industry skills.
  • Responsible for participating in the in-house CPE classes developed internally and provided by the Firm.
  • Assist in researching technical issues, writing technical memorandums, preparing analyses, and participating in IRS audits on behalf of clients.
  • Responsible for managing clients which includes writing proposals, engagement letters, budgeting, staffing and billing.
  • Participating in our formal mentorship program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, Corporate focused
  • Advanced technical skills in tax compliance and planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The annual base salary range for this role is $170,000-$190,000. This range includes the anticipated low and high end the salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education and/or skill level.
