We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive insurance risk professional to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will have the flexibility to work remotely while also participating in key on-site activities in Chicago. Your main responsibilities will involve identifying, assessing, and managing risks across our global operations. Responsibilities

  • Insurance Program Management: Engage in developing and managing our global risk insurance programs, ensuring all policies, changes, and documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Claims Management: Collaborate with insurance partners to manage claims effectively and analyze claims data for timely issue resolution.
  • Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough risk assessments to enhance asset protection and support loss reduction efforts, overseeing underwriting information, coverage placement, and loss forecasting.
  • Contract Review: Review insurance provisions in contracts and coordinate with brokers to ensure alignment with our risk management strategies.
  • Vendor Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for insurance-related inquiries and facilitate communication between brokers, internal clients, and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. CPCU/ARM designations are a plus but not required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience with an insurance carrier, broker, or in corporate risk management.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Risk Management Information Systems.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to communicate across various functions and manage relationships effectively.
  • Independence: Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
