Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Area Sales Manager, you will craft and maintain a strategic sales approach that supports market expansion and growth aspirations. You will lead the sales strategy for a designated market, ensuring both qualitative and quantitative sales targets are met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and leading the execution of sales strategies to hit targets.
  • Ensuring continuous market penetration and growth within your designated region or market.
  • Providing leadership and coaching to the sales team to foster high performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Identifying potential challenges and taking proactive action to address performance gaps.
  • Evaluating and pursuing new opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
  • Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and acting on feedback to maintain strong relationships.
  • Leading negotiations on key contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, including managing a business portfolio of $5M or more.
  • Proven senior account management experience and a strong understanding of electrification products.
  • Candidates must have work authorization for the United States.
