Senior Financial Analyst - Cost Control & Proposal Management at Get It Recruit - Finance

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and overseeing cost control, analysis, and proposal preparation. You will also be responsible for budgeting, manpower forecasting, and Earned Value computations for various funding sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program cost baselines.
• Conduct Earned Value Analysis and variance analysis using tools like EFS, SAP, and others.
• Perform Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis, providing insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Collaborate on proposal actions and compliance checks with Engineering.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
• Strong background in finance.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in budget and cost management.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with Earned Value Management and proposal preparation on DOD contracts.
• Familiarity with Program Performance Management Processes (PPMP) and tools such as EFS, SAP, and Tableau.
• Multi-functional experience in Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Knowledge of business management principles.
• Experience supporting Engineering & Technology from a business perspective.
• Defense industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and presentation abilities.
• Advanced skills in Excel, database management, and reporting.
