Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to spearhead the marketing and production of new loans in Southern Idaho. This role is crucial in building relationships with financial institutions, commercial brokers, and businesses to facilitate loan participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities and underwrite loans by reaching out to financial institutions, commercial brokers, and businesses.
  • Initiate the underwriting process by completing the Loan Application and necessary credit memorandums.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Analyst to gather additional information required for loan committee review and submission.
  • Obtain signed Loan Application Assistance Agreements and required fee deposits from borrowers prior to approval.
  • Provide borrowers and lenders with loan authorization documents upon approval.
  • Assist the closing department by collecting necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with appraisal and environmental investigation requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to verify project completion and address any servicing-related matters as needed.
  • Maintain a monthly expense report for all out-of-pocket costs and actively engage in local networking groups.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline status, forecast annual loan approvals, and make recommendations for procedural improvements.
  • Attend meetings as requested by management and support other duties as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Submit detailed expense reports monthly.
  • Engage with local Chamber of Commerce and other networking groups.
  • Make quarterly visits to commercial lenders in your territory.
  • Provide monthly and weekly reports on prospects, applications, and transactions.
  • Prepare an annual forecast of loan approvals and funding dates.
  • Suggest procedural changes to enhance efficiency and participate in management meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in marketing commercial loans or loan programs, and familiarity with loan regulation compliance.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Proficiency in PC applications including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work well in a team, and demonstrate dependability.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents.
  • Capability to create detailed reports, business correspondence, and manuals.
  • Proficient in presenting complex information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.

Physical Requirements

  • This role is primarily sedentary, involving prolonged sitting, occasional bending, and frequent repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of office supplies.
