About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to lead our talented Audio Video (AV) team. In this role, you will oversee AV infrastructure deployment and support, guide live event execution, manage AV projects, and hire and develop talent. Your team will design, deliver, optimize, and support various AV solutions, including conference rooms, event spaces, and digital signage.

Collaboration is crucial as you will work closely with global tech teams, facilities stakeholders, finance partners, and leadership to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You possess a proven track record in building out AV infrastructure and supporting live events. As a leader, you are passionate about your own development and that of your team. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of onsite AV Support Engineers responsible for end-user AV support and maintenance of conference and meeting room hardware.
  • Manage inventories, budgets, and life cycle management.
  • Develop and execute strategic new initiatives to enhance AV services.
  • Ensure project plans are on target and executed comprehensively.
  • Monitor the live event program, identifying opportunities for more efficient execution that delights customers.
  • Serve as an escalation point for the team and provide technical leadership.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Manage and optimize vendor relationships to augment your team's capabilities.
  • Create regular reports to share insights with leadership.
  • Hire, coach, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of talent development.
  • Own operational excellence, creating and monitoring metrics and alerts, gathering customer feedback, scrutinizing processes, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working with AV teams.
  • 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing AV infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects, budgets, and inventory life cycles.
  • 3+ years of experience creating code for AV platforms.
  • Familiarity with AV technologies such as Extron, Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, Shure, and Poly.
  • Experience with video and audio over IP and general IT teams.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting live events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.
  • Relevant certifications in AV technologies.
  • Experience implementing Digital Signage, specifically video walls.
  • Experience managing vendors and procurement of software/hardware.
  • Project management experience and certifications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy and minimal oversight.
