Senior TypeScript Engineer (m/f/d) EduTech

Join us on the mission of democratizing education and play a key role in advancing the educational journey for more than 2¹⁷ learners around the globe. At EduTech you will contribute to shaping our central digital interface, MyCampus V2. The team develops solutions that make education more accessible and highly personalised.

This position is available immediately in full-time (40hrs./week) at our locations or remotely within Germany or UK.

Your tasks

• Be part of our cross-functional agile teams working on our student platform
• Increase our digital student experience by designing, implementing and operating our products with a focus guiding them through the platform and processes
• Together with other software engineers, product managers, UI/UX designers create continuously improving customer centric solutions.
• Together with other developers bring our code standards to a new level by shaping and developing best practises
• As a Teamplayer mentor younger developers so you and your team grow - technically as well as a team
• Build self-contained micro frontends that include different persistence layers and scalable and cloud-native solutions in our AWS environment
  
  

Your Profile

• You have a strong understanding of web technologies and got already in contact with JavaScript/Typescript using current frameworks like e.g. VueJS, React etc.
• You speak HTML and CSS fluently - writing and using components is your day to day business
• Experience in modern software development tools and systems
• Experience with automated software testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
• Experience in event driven architectures, messaging patterns and Apache Kafka is a plus
• Excitement about creating end-to-end solutions for our customers in a cross-functional team
• Passion for knowledge sharing and willingness to mentor other team members in best practices, code quality and tech frameworks
• Proven ability to drive change and influence the adoption of new technologies and practices within a team
