Description

As a Senior Operations Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in managing cost accounting while providing insightful analysis and cost control to support our business operations.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Conducting cost center variance analysis by reviewing budget vs. actual costs and discussing findings with business leaders.
  • Performing monthly financial analyses, including accruals and reconciliations of commissions, royalties, and warranty expenses.
  • Delivering detailed analysis for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) related to warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing.
  • Developing and improving processes to enhance EBITDA through logistics and inventory analytics.
  • Reviewing and closing labor variance analysis for completed production jobs, aiding in the management of Work In Progress (WIP) accounts.
  • Assisting in the annual standard cost roll and budget process, collaborating closely with Operations Leadership.
  • Managing the CAPEX approval process through cooperation with business leaders and reviewing requests.
  • Tracking cost reduction activities and value improvement initiatives.
  • Producing ad hoc reports as necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in finance and cost accounting.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of finance, accounting, inventory, and operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Epicor, and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Interaction: Ability to effectively interact with various levels of the organization, including remote staff.

Education

  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
