Volunteer Treasurer | Reframe Coaching

Reframe Coaching is looking to recruit a Treasurer to join our board of Trustees to help oversee the charity’s financial risk-management process and report financial health to the board of trustees at regular intervals.

What difference will you make?

As part of our board, you will support and shape our work and strategic direction, as well as help us achieve our purpose to support individuals who have been affected either directly or indirectly by a Gambling Addiction and/or Gambling Related Harm. Our main plan over the coming years is to build and improve our infrastructure, both at the Board and Operational level. Given the recent announcement of the Gambling Act White Paper, it is, therefore, both a challenging and an exciting time to join the Board, as we look to develop our fundraising capacity, continue to implement robust management systems, and to help become an accessible and sustainable organisation.

What are we looking for?

Essential Qualified accountant with demonstrated commercial awareness and knowledge. Knowledge of charity SORP and impending changes. Competent use of IT skills. Proven ability to communicate and explain financial information to members of the Board and other stakeholders. Analytical and evaluation skills, demonstrating good judgement. Understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship. Good communication and leadership skills

What will you be doing?

Reframe Coaching is looking for a Treasurer to support in the next stage of the charity's development. A general background in finance and governance is essential. Previous experience as a Treasurer or Trustee would be welcomed.
