Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Sponsorship Officer to join the our team. As we enter our 25th year, this key role will be responsible for identifying, and securing new corporate sponsorships and partnerships for Pride Cymru.

Previous experience in new business development, account management or corporate sponsorship environment Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills Self-motivated with the ability to work on one’s own initiative Interpersonal skills to aid in relationship building

What will you be doing?

Duties and responsibilities Identify potential new partners aligned with Pride Cymru’s belief & values Initiating contact with prospective partners & relationship/rapport building Pitch sponsorship opportunities to potential partners Collaborate with multiple areas of Pride Cymru to ensure a smooth onboarding of new partners About you A genuine desire to support the LGBTQIA+ community in Wales Commitment to upholding and promoting values for equality, diversity and inclusion Ensure work is completed to a high professional standard and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. Attend appropriate meetings/events Represent the organisational ethos and values Carry out any other reasonable duties as the role develops and as may be requested by the management/trustees
