This will be a hybrid position working in the office in Kells on a weekly basis. Candidate will need to have valid work authorization in Ireland and the company will not pay for any employment sponsorship.

Boostlingo is looking for a QA Engineer to join our talented engineering team. As the QA Engineer you will be expected to provide leadership and technical direction for our QA team and processes.

You will review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Perform manual and automated testing. While participating in Agile ceremonies you will estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

What you will do:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using our current frameworks.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Proven work experience in software development, particularly in large scale Saas applications with at least 4 years of experience.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks like C#, Java, Javascript, Selenium, TestNG, Webdriver IO or something similar.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman or languages such as Python.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with TestRail or similar test case management software.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence applications.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools and development is an even bigger plus.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

Nice to have:

Experience with testing applications using Twilio in one or more of the following areas:

• Programmable Voice
• Programmable IVR
