Data Analyst

Our client is a growing startup in the iGaming industry, with a strong focus on online Poker and other online gaming verticals. The company is committed to using data to drive growth, enhance player experience, and optimize performance. They are seeking a talented Data Analyst to contribute to their mission of becoming a key player in the online gaming space.

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Data Analyst to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will analyze, interpret, and present data related to online Poker and other gaming products. This role requires fluency in English and Russian to support various teams and a global player base. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing gameplay, improving player retention, and providing actionable insights for business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze player data to identify trends, behaviors, and insights across online Poker and other iGaming products. Prepare and deliver reports summarizing key performance metrics, including player retention, acquisition, and engagement.
  
• Game Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Poker tables, tournaments, and other game variants to provide insights on game balance and trends. Identify areas for improvement in game mechanics and player engagement.
  
• Player Behavior Analysis: Analyze player segments, including high-value players, to assess lifetime value (LTV) and risk of churn. Investigate patterns in player activity to recommend strategies for increased engagement and retention.
  
• Business Strategy Support: Collaborate with marketing, product, and game design teams to provide data-driven recommendations on promotions, bonuses, and game updates. Evaluate promotional campaigns and their impact on user behavior and engagement. 
  
• Data Visualization & Communication: Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to clearly present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Communicate insights and strategic recommendations effectively to teams across the organization.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define metrics and business questions. Provide support in English and Russian to ensure smooth communication across various teams and geographies.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

Languages: Fluency in English and Russian (both written and spoken) is essential.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the iGaming industry or online Poker.

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. 

Experience using SQL to query and manipulate large datasets. 

Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is an advantage. 

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to process and interpret large datasets. 

Experience working with gaming data, particularly user interactions and in-game economics. 

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Knowledge of online Poker and other iGaming products is highly preferred.
