Job description

About Prelim
Prelim is a fast-growing, remote-only startup disrupting the banking industry. We're laser-focused on transforming how banks onboard customers, offering cutting-edge solutions for both online and in-branch experiences. With team members spread across the U.S., our mission is simple: to streamline access to banking, one institution at a time.

If you're the type of person who thrives in high-stakes environments, loves challenges, and is always looking for ways to push boundaries, Prelim is the place for you. We're not just building a product; we're reshaping an industry—and we need ambitious, relentless individuals who want to be a part of that journey.

Why we're looking for you
With 3x year-over-year growth and demand outpacing expectations, we're ready to step up our game. We're hiring our first Events & Community Marketing Associate to help us cultivate an engaged community and execute high-impact events that leave a lasting impression on our clients in the banking sector.
We're after someone who's not just good on paper, but who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. You’ll be building from the ground up and have a real chance to make a lasting impact. We want grinders—people who get things done, are always three steps ahead, and never shy away from rolling up their sleeves.

What you'll do
Your job will be to build and execute events and community programs that drive engagement and create real value for our clients. From webinars and workshops to large-scale conferences and meetups, you'll be in the driver’s seat, taking full ownership of projects. Expect to collaborate closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure that every event is strategically aligned with customer needs.
This role will test your strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and relentless drive. The stakes are high, but so are the rewards. If you're someone who thrives in a role where no two days are the same and you're eager to take on a leadership role in shaping the future of Prelim's community, you’re who we’re looking for.

Who you'll work with
You’ll work with passionate, fast-moving people who are driven to deliver exceptional results. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and other internal teams. You’ll also interact with customers and industry leaders. If you're excited to roll up your sleeves, learn quickly, and move fast, this is the environment for you.

What You’ll Bring
  • Assist in executing the events and community marketing strategy.
  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events (e.g., webinars, workshops, conferences, community meetups).
  • Develop and implement community engagement initiatives.
  • Research industry trends and gather data to inform event and community strategies.
  • Conduct outreach to potential event speakers and community influencers.
  • Support the marketing team in promoting events and community activities.
  • Help with post-event analysis and community feedback to continuously improve.

  • A few of our benefits
  • Equity
  • Full health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Parental Leave
  • Remote Office Setup Stipend
  • Wellness Stipend
  • Ready to build something meaningful? Join us at Prelim.
