Aviva Financial is seeking to hire a Security Engineer who will play a critical role in safeguarding the company's dynamic and ever-evolving technological environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security within the financial industry and hands-on experience with Microsoft security solutions. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role involves delivering clear and concise reports to senior leadership, accurately reflecting the company's cybersecurity posture and the evolving risk landscape.
Requirements:
Spanish fluent.
Strong background in information security within the financial industry.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security solutions.
Excellent communication skills for delivering clear and concise reports to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in a technical security role, preferably within the financial sector.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policies, Azure AD, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Terraform, and IaaS and SaaS solutions.
Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, Kerberos) and security controls for Office 365.
Strong problem-solving skills, proactive thinking, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage Microsoft security solutions, including desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, EntraID, and Desired Configuration State.
Implement VNETs, Firewalls, and manage security and networking resources in Azure.
Ensure robust DNS and messaging security across the organization’s infrastructure.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Terraform.
Configure and maintain security controls in Office 365, including Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access.
Develop and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and implement Azure Information Protection (AIP) solutions for data labeling, classification, and encryption.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Use tools like EDR and SIEM for continuous monitoring and threat detection.
Conduct vulnerability management and remediation efforts to safeguard the organization’s assets.
Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and enhanced security operations.
Work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address security challenges and implement best practices.
