Your Role:

As a B2B Business Development - Lead Generator, you will:

  • A passion for sales and marketing to ensure sales targets and quotas are achieved,
  • Develop and execute strategies for targeted accounts as well as mining and developing new accounts.
  • Establish, build and manage multi-level relationships within customers and partner organizations,
  • Develop strategic product solutions for identified customer needs,
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of both the customer businesses and that of its market competitors to ensure that effective strategic solutions are provided,
  • Develop an understanding and influence the customers decision making process and lead the customer to positive decisions on product proposals and manage all customer engagements to a successful conclusion.
  • Make outgoing calls and generate high-quality leads through inbound and outbound calling to develop new business opportunities.
  • Direct email marketing to key clients and prospects.
  • Conduct research and screenings to understand prospective client needs and financial situations
  • Match clients with the most suitable services based on their specific requirements
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor throughout all interactions

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • 1-2 year of successful experience in Sales/Business Development
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM
  • Proven successful Lead Gen experience, cold calling
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics related roles is a plus

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • Demonstrate competence in target marketing to specific prospects and have advanced selling skills,
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels
  • Commercial astuteness with proven ability to create strategic relationships and plans which satisfy customers' needs and business  
  • Ability to think outside the box, open to changes and participate in discussions
  • Great work ethic, able to take initiative and work without supervision
  • “Can-do” attitude, positivity and enthusiasm.
  • Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently.
