The purpose of the Injector Solutions Business Consultant is to meet or exceed financial goals for the respective territory by promoting, demonstrating and selling Guerbet Injector, consumable and service products to hospitals and private clinics by coordinating with National Accounts and full line sales teams.  In addition, they will work with the clinical support team throughout the sales process.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with OEM/Equipment Distributor regional sales forces.
  • Strategically plan and organize the territory to maximize sales of injectors,  service plans and consumable products.
  • Providing technical expertise in the field organization for the Injector and related products.
  • Establish and broaden sales call points of healthcare professionals including physicians, technologists and nurses along with the bio-medical professionals, purchasing & other positions that impact purchasing decisions.
  • For all targeted accounts, understand customer’s environment, including the clinical, financial and key decision makers.
  • Control territory operating budget and manage expense account within the guidelines that are giving by management.
  • Where necessary, represent the company publicly in a commercial capacity at scientific symposia, tradeshows, or similar events. 
  • Ability to assist, train and direct support staff (inside sales, customer service, etc.)
  • Provide feedback on product performance, competition, products and marketing practices.
  • Remain in compliance with all vendor credentialing organizations that are required to enter and work in hospitals.
  • 50% overnight travel in assigned region or outside region as needed.  Including, but not limited to include travel to attend Regional and National Sales meetings.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Candidate will be highly self-motivated, detail and results oriented, manage own schedule and work independently and with colleagues, support teams and Sales Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10 years’ experience in healthcare equipment sales.
  • Familiarity with radiology, bio-medical, c-suite and general hospital environments.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of the capital equipment sales process & ability to manage capital forecast.
  • Established customer management skills.
  • Experienced in managing sales & expense budgets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
