Job Description

This role is crucial for providing administrative support to Project Managers (PMs) within our Project Management Office (PMO). The assigned PMs will vary based on workload and capacity, ensuring that support is tailored to current needs. Key responsibilities include delivering accurate and timely project information, such as status reports, report comparisons, serial card checks, and formatting customer reports. Additionally, this position involves clear and consistent communication with customers regarding project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting

Compile and analyze data to generate comprehensive project status reports for Project Managers (PMs) using various internal tools and databases.

Create and maintain customer-facing status reports as directed by PMs.

Develop automated internal status reports upon request using Power Automate.

Support to Project Managers

Participate in project activities such as kickoff meetings, internal briefings, and documentation audits.

Serve as a backup in specific functions to provide updates to customers when required.

Assist with order management activities in scenarios where a Project Manager is not required or is unavailable, including representation in meetings, agreement discussions, and documentation processes.

Adapt to each PM’s preferred working style and needs.

Provide general support for project management-related tasks.

Follow-up

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with assigned PMs to discuss current project status, progress, efforts, and upcoming action items.

Communication with Customers

Develop formats that outline lead times following a quote for new orders, helping to forecast the delivery of manufactured items, as requested by the PM (using the Project Quotation Tool).

Investigate and communicate any setbacks in project progress, ensuring key customers, including Emerson Impact Partners and final customers, are advised of significant changes to the scheduled delivery time.

For this role, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering.

Strong English communication skills – written, verbal and listening - Required

1 Year Of Experience In Administrative Support Role – Preferred

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate Knowledge - Required

Power BI, & Power Query & Power Apps Intermediate Knowledge – Preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience working with spreadsheets and reports - Preferred.
