A Technical Project Manager job working REMOTELY from anywhere in the U.S. is currently available at Belcan. We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Technical Project Manager to lead and optimize the management processes for 20 subassembly projects within the Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLS) group. This role involves the establishment of automated and streamlined project management processes in Microsoft Project, the setup of a common JIRA workflow, and the creation of communication templates and processes for collaboration with stakeholders and hardware providers through major design reviews.

Technical Project Manager Job Duties

  • Project Management System Setup:
  • Develop and implement a streamlined and automated management process in Microsoft Project for 20 subassembly projects.
  • Ensure the system is user-friendly and allows ECLS leads to independently manage their projects and provide reports to the ECLS Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL).
  • Report high-level schedule status to the program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure alignment with overall program goals.
  • JIRA Workflow and Dashboard Configuration:
  • Establish a standardized JIRA workflow and create dashboards for the ECLS subsystems that align with the Lunar Business system.
  • Train subsystem leads and relevant team members on how to effectively use JIRA for tracking progress, managing tasks, and reporting.
  • Communication Management:
  • Develop templates and processes to facilitate clear and efficient communication between stakeholders and hardware providers.
  • Ensure communication protocols are maintained throughout major design reviews and other critical project phases.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Facilitate regular updates and meetings to track progress and resolve any issues that arise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in aerospace or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and JIRA, with the ability to set up workflows and dashboards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members on new processes and tools.
  • Experience with Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) and managing project schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLS) or similar engineering domains.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
  • U.S. Person (Perm Res/Green Card)

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $110,000 to $125,000.
