Job description

About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About The Role

At Rippling, the growth team is the tip of the spear of revenue generation. Our team’s job is to maximize revenue by efficiently driving sales demos. We do that by running marketing experiments across multiple channels, then rapidly scaling the ones that work.

In this role, you’ll own our worldwide affiliate marketing channels, managing our high-intent Review Sites program while standing up new affiliate initiatives. Mamoon Hamid, a partner at Kleiner Perkins, recently said that “Rippling’s growth is in the 1% of the 1%. At their scale, they are one of the fastest growing companies in the world.” As a member of our growth team, you’ll own the end-to-end performance of your channels, diligently optimizing while also exploring new and creative ways to inflect growth.

This role is highly cross-functional - you’ll partner with our go-to-market, marketing operations, and analytics teams (among others), as well as own our relationships with outside vendors for your channels, in order to deliver top-notch results.

What You Will Do

  • Develop the multi-year strategy for how we approach Affiliate programs and Review Sites as the company scales to $1B ARR and beyond.
  • Build our roster of Review Site program partners, negotiating and deploying a $XM budget for optimal down-funnel performance; stay in tight communications with these partners to nurture and grow our relationships and maximize performance across the full-funnel.
  • Expand our Review Site program internationally and across net new product suites, strategically identifying areas for investment.
  • Use data to drive optimizations of budgets and bids for each affiliate program, balancing cost, growth, and efficiency.
  • Build out Partner and Social affiliate programs from 0 to 1 and beyond.
  • Alongside Comms team, empower Review Site organizations to generate accurate and comprehensive editorial coverage of our products.
  • Partner with WebOps team to experiment with new landing page content, format, and designs, improving conversion from click to lead.
  • Work cross-functionally to enable teams within Marketing to leverage your channels to meet product and segment specific goals.

What You Will Need

  • 3-5+ years of experience doing both quantitative and qualitative work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ownership mindset: motivated by the idea of owning a number, and are not afraid to step up to big challenges. You have a growth mindset and readily look for feedback on how to improve.
  • Adept vendor management: you are able to organize and execute alongside external vendors, holding them to a high standard
  • Cross-functional communicator: you communicate proactively and effectively, marshaling internal resources and external vendors to keep operations running smoothly
  • Bias to action: You’ll constantly try new growth ideas in this role; you have a bias to action and learning and will do whatever it takes to get your projects over the finish line.
  • Structured, data-driven problem-solving: you are able to analyze and design solutions to ambiguous problems in ambiguous environments. You have the ability to analyze data to uncover insights, in SQL or Excel, in order to optimize performance towards your goals.
  • Hackiness and creativity: You’re constantly generating new ideas and are eager to experiment.
