Position Details:
This position is responsible for driving aggressive corporate growth goals that will increase small business revenue by 200% year over year and transition SRE into full and open competition starting now and having 75 % of bids be full and open within five years. You will drive the full business development lifecycle (from opportunity identification through proposal submission, orals, requests for additional information, through award) of all federal Government opportunities at SRE. You will lead the transformation of SRE from a small business into the top service provider in the Government consulting industry. This individual in this role will have an entrepreneurial mindset that allows them to see how to make the “impossible” possible. This position will focus on SRE’s core capabilities and expanding our federal Government footprint.
Duties associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Shipley Certified in Federal Business Development, Capture, and Proposal writing.
Experience:
15 years of proven results in corporate growth with a minimum of 100% growth year over year in a Full and Open environment. Must be an expert in proposal writing, business acquisition, contract solicitation, business development, and capture.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $150,000 - $120,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE’s total compensation package for employees.
Work Environment:
The primary work location of this position is Washington D.C. Metro area, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
