Position Summary

The software quality assurance manager will have complete mastery of your specialization and be a solid problem solver. The software quality assurance manager will have the ability to anticipate needs and develop/lead projects that directly impact business metrics. He will lead a team of QA professionals, implement quality assurance processes and standards, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. QA manager must have strong technical and leadership skills, and keep up-to-date with emerging trends in software quality assurance

Roles & Responsibilities

Defining and implementing quality assurance processes and standards

Developing and maintaining test plans, cases and scripts - Leading and mentoring QA team members

Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues

Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery on time and within budget

Keeping abreast of industry developments and incorporating new testing methodologies and ools into the QA process. -

Reporting on quality metrics and trends

Ensuring the team follows best practices for software testing and quality assurance

Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software quality assurance.

Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and/or procedures based on acceptance criteria

Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance

Design and develop automated testing tools

Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates

Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, or potential problems

Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness

Work across business units and with cross-functional teams

Key Skills

Strong self-motivation (this is a must); Excellent work ethic, dependable and responsible

Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new requirements quickly and can adapt to a growing and evolving team

Critical Thinker; with good logical and creative problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

7+ years of experience of quality assurance, software development of a related field.

Experience in Test automation

Experience writing, developing and executing test plans

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Organization. Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Functional, Regression, Performance, Integration, End to End testing experience

Experience in various delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, & Scaled Agile

Emotional intelligence. Ability to manage its emotions, as well as those of others

Team management skills, including Clear and Effective Communication

Desired Skills

Experience working with a PIM or MDM system

Stibo STEP knowledge

SQL knowledge

Experience With Jira Or Other Defect Tracking Tools

Experience with DDT

Experience with IT audits

Experience applying shift left methodologies, starting the testing in discovery phase

Experience in Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Robot Framework, Playwright is an added advantage.

Experience in RPA

Experience in Python or Java
