Engineering Manager Role JD

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong experience in building and leading high scale, high performance cloud platform and services. If you have leadership experience with building workflow automation tools, real-time messaging, ELK, distributed architecture, and complex performance optimizations (database/API/UI) experience then this is a right opportunity for you. Requirements:

B Tech or M Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
3+ years of strong technical and people management experience - leading and building a strong engineering team.
7+ years of experience preferably in Python, .net, RDBMS/NoSQL, Microservices, REST, Angular etc.
Proven experience and well versed with distributed computing principles, high performance and high scale cloud platform and services.
Detailed oriented with strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong experience in modern deployment strategies - devops, CI/CD, containerization, cloud resource management etc. Knowledge of Azure is desirable.
Experience with elastic search, Redis, SSO integration (SAML), security(auth/jwt), beautifulsoup, writing parsers, machine learning and automated testing is a plus.
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrums, Sprints etc), tools (JIRA etc) and in managing and executing agile engineering practices.
Work with different stakeholders (PM, UX, Engineering, CS etc) to understand requirements and then define, design, scope and track engineering work, QA, deployment and monitoring plans with risk management.
Strong customer focus with understanding, managing and resolving customer expectations and issues.
