WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE A CONTROLLER AT DRUMMOND:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's objectives and long-term growth.

·         Prepare and manage the annual budget elaboration process, including revenue projections, expense forecasts, and capital expenditures.

·         Monitor financial performance against budget, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management.

·         Identify areas for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement, and develop actionable plans to address them.

·         Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory filings in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

·         Manage cash flow, working capital, and bank relationships to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

·         Provide financial analysis and guidance for strategic initiatives, investments, and business development opportunities.

·         Collaborate with department heads to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and improve financial performance.

·         Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·         Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting financial management and reporting.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

·         Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA strongly preferred.

·         8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in leadership.

·         Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, proficient in Excel and financial management software.

·         Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·         Proven leadership ability, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

·         Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

·         Experience in the technology industry or a similar fast-growing, innovative environment is a plus.
