Job description

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Content Manager to join our dynamic team. The Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand’s goals and objectives.

This hands-on role involves overseeing the creation, management, and optimisation of content across multiple channels to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and generate leads. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inbound marketing, content strategy, content creation, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Content Strategy

  • Develop, implement and maintain a content strategy that supports the overall marketing objectives and business goals across all channels.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategy with product launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.


Content Creation and Management

  • Craft compelling, high-quality copy across various formats and channels, including blogs, articles, videos, social media, and infographics.

  • Manage a content calendar that ensures consistent and timely delivery of content.

  • Work closely with writers, designers, and videographers to produce content that resonates with our target audience.

  • Adapt and repurpose content for various channels and formats.

  • Develop and execute distribution plans to maximise the reach and impact of content across multiple channels, including social media, email, and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with the paid media team to promote content through sponsored posts, advertisements, and other paid channels.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all content produced and published.

SEO and Content Optimization

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility and ranking of content on search engines.

  • Analyse content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to optimise results.

  • Utilise analytics tools to track and report on key performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Conduct structured experiments to validate new tactics.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role, with at least two years in a leadership position.

  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO best practices, and digital marketing trends.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of content creators and marketers.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and social media platforms.

  • Creative thinker who can develop innovative content ideas that drive engagement and conversions.

  • Ability to simplify complex information into engaging stories.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Open to feedback and embraces challenges.

  • Native English is mandatory.
