Job description

Responsibilities

  • Write SEO-friendly, original content for Courtly’s blog, website, and marketing materials

  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices in content creation

  • Check all articles against Originality.ai to ensure they are classified as human-written or low-AI and meet originality standards

  • Collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to develop content strategies that drive traffic and engagement

  • Edit and revise content based on feedback and performance data

  • Stay up-to-date with SEO trends and content best practices to continually improve content quality and performance

  • Ensure content aligns with Courtly’s brand voice, values, and messaging

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO content writer or similar role

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs)

  • Ability to create engaging and original content without the need for AI writing tools

  • Familiarity with Originality.ai or similar tools to ensure content authenticity

  • Experience in the wedding industry or legal services is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
