Who We're Looking For:

We are looking to hire a Senior Development and Operations Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and will employ DevOps tools and best practices to improve our development team's production.

Problem-solving is key to the ability to utilize creative and innovative thinking. Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and/or attributes the candidate should possess.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze and upgrade current AWS infrastructure and Git strategy
• Upgrade Kubernetes clusters to enhance performance and reduce costs
• Implement IT components such as VPNs and user account provisioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
• Showcase best practices for future state infrastructure improvements
• Set up and manage common IT infrastructure components
• Optimize Kubernetes management and cost efficiency
• Configure and manage VPNs and user account provisioning
  
  

Some Must-Haves:

• Extensive experience in AWS and best practices
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Terraform
• Deep networking knowledge
• Experience with Java/Spring and .NET environments
• Familiarity with Kubernetes management and cost optimization
• Ability to set up and manage common IT infrastructure components
• Proficiency in VPN configuration and user account provisioning
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
