Position Responsibilities

This role will be part of a growing team responsible for m aintaining and supporting all aspects of the Deltek Cloud environment. This SaaS environment will have tight compliance-driven controls focused on data handling and access as well as exceptional levels of reliability, scalability, security, and quality of service. We are looking for team players and leaders that are reliable, enthusiastic, committed, creative, and customer focused. This role also requires strong collaboration skills to focus on a diverse palette of technical and operational work in a continuously evolving environment.

  • Activating SaaS Environments which includes provisioning SaaS applications and system configuration.
  • Troubleshoot complex application problems as well as provide software fault diagnosis, resolve operational issues, and interact with vendors and Deltek’s Engineering and Support teams.
  • Provide backend support for the client-facing Customer Care team.
  • Satisfying application service requests.
  • Adhering to a high standard in security protocol and procedures.
  • Runbook and Knowledge base content management responsibilities.
  • Ability to provide solutions that result in a better customer experience.
  • Maintaining and auditing customer Instance inventory lists.
  • Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedule- Weekend, Night & Holiday hours required.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting enterprise customer-facing software.
  • 3+ years experience with public cloud providers including OCI and AWS.
  • 3+ years of experience with Sql script execution in Oracle. Experience with MSSQL also desirable.
  • 2+ years experience as system administrator.
  • Experience working in Linux, as well as Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Diverse range of technical and operational interests and capabilities, including Microsoft Windows, Networking, AWS, Java/J2EE, PowerShell, SQL Server, Oracle, virtualization, monitoring.
  • Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short-term and long-term requirements.
  • Passionate about technology and solving application focused problems.
  • Must be detail oriented, task driven, and have great communication skills. Customer service focus is key.
  • Works and engages well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to provide solutions that result in a better customer experience.
  • B.S in Computer Science or other relevant education.
  • Deltek product knowledge is a plus.
