Channel Marketing Manager - Remote

We are looking for a Channel Marketing Manager responsible for developing and executing channel strategy and programs across all channels in North America. Typical Sangoma channels include telecom solutions distributors, cloud agents, hardware distributors, and resellers. The Channel Marketing Manager will be an individual contributor and report to Sangoma's VP of Global Marketing. The best candidate will be located in the east.

You will develop channel-specific marketing strategies, plan marketing campaigns, and manage marketing communications to these channels. This includes developing and executing partner recruitment/ enablement/retention programs, promotional programs to specific channels, and the Sangoma partner relationship management (PRM) portal care. You will also partner with sales to ensure the channel marketing strategies and plans align with sales goals. This job also entails developing future channel strategies to align with Sangoma’s growth goals.

The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable with a fast-paced environment, wearing different hats, and putting customers and partners first. He’s a collaborator and relationship-builder who can comfortably drive initiatives forward.

Your Role:

  • Design and build channel partner programs from scratch with telecom solutions distributors, cloud agents, hardware distributors, and resellers in North America.
  • Gather and leverage insights from the Partner Advisory Council to improve partner programs.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to build market awareness and drive demand in our chosen channels.
  • You will execute campaigns that involve online and in-person events, pay-per-click advertising, social media, email, newsletters, website content, landing pages, SEO strategy, and other innovative ideas while working collaboratively with other marketers and sales members.
  • Generate new partner leads and support partner recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Measure partner recruitment campaign and channel effectiveness
  • Evaluate and improve existing channel marketing strategies
  • Own partner portal in collaboration with marketing and sales, including content of the partner website, ensuring the partner website is up to date with relevant resources and tells the Sangoma brand narrative and messaging
  • Develop and promote content to partners on specific channel marketing programs, plans, etc.
  • Budget management: assessment and allocation for different partners
  • Run regional partner events in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Develop and manage partner communications, including sending emails
  • Work with key partners to include our content in their marketing programs/campaigns
  • Keeping track of and implementing the latest marketing technologies and techniques.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in channel/ partner marketing in cloud communications
  • Prior experience marketing to and with telecom solutions distributors, cloud agents, hardware distributors, and resellers.
  • Experience in marketing automation tools and customer relationship management tools
  • Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot preferred
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to wear many hats, jump to solve problems
  • Collaboration and relationship-building skill
  • Proven successful experience working with sales
  • Strong writing skills to assist in the rapid development of marketing content
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Advanced ability to drive creativity and innovation.
  • Background and experience in digital marketing, product marketing, content, and events
  • Preferred experience with agile frameworks (Kanban or Scrum)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or in a related field or minimum 3 years equivalent workplace experience
