The Sr. Compensation & Benefits Analyst supports Global Total Rewards in the day-to-day administration and monitoring of executive, base, variable, equity and deferred compensation plans. Additionally, the role supports 401k administration, provides benefit data analysis to solve non-routine, complex business needs, leads compensation and benefit project initiatives and develops solutions to support analyses and/or processes including system enhancements. 



Responsibilities:

Executive Compensation Functions

  • Administers the global compensation functions related to, executive, equity, stock, deferred compensation programs and annual processes.
  • Provide technical research on executive compensation policies and procedures, strategy, compliance and design including engaging and providing data to outside experts
  • Coordinates vesting of restricted stocks and ongoing dividends and the final processing of stock option exercises.
  • Prepare the CD&A (Compensation Discussion & Analysis) within the Company's annual proxy statement as well as other compensation and benefits disclosures
  • Coordinates various tax imputes for executives.
  • Support compliance with various legal and regulatory requirements and reporting (including SEC and IRS) on executive compensation programs.
  • Review and analyze market data to evaluate our executive compensation (cash, incentive, and equity) program competitiveness relative to our compensation philosophy and principles.
  • Drive thoughtful analysis around short-term and long-term incentives in addition to other reward programs primarily attributed to our top executives (VP and above).
  • Support the administration of any implementations of systems utilized to facilitate the tracking and administration of plans.
  • Ensure complete, accurate, backed up and appropriately shared record keeping of all programs.

Core Compensation

  • Administers compensation programs such as merit, market adjustments/promotions including short- and long-term bonuses, incentives and other reward programs. Works closely with HR Business Partners, as well as the Payroll and HRIS teams.
  • Conducts market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization’s pay programs regarding compensation.
  • Participates in administration of multiple variable compensation and salary increase programs providing advanced data and analytical support.
  • Develops, analyzes, and prepares Compensation metric reports and ad hoc requests. Prepares and presents statistical reports as needed.

 

Benefit Administration

  • Assist with the implementation, and day-to-day administration of benefit programs, including health & welfare benefit plans, 401(k) plan, and other employee services.
  • Lead the 401k administration 401(k) to include contributions, loan payments, annual testing and audits, system configurations with the applicable vendor.
  • Supports the leave management process for FMLA, STD, LTD, Military, WC, and Personal leaves of absence, including keeping complete and accurate records in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation best practices and utilizing internal systems.
  • Provides additional support with open enrollment and program implementation processes as needed.
  • Partner with Broker/Vendor/employee to resolve escalated claim issues (med, den, vis, std, etc.)
  • Additional responsibilities as the organization expands (i.e., acquisition, etc.).
Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Peavy compensation and/or analytical background that shows proven success as a thoughtful compensation partner with attention to detail in a public company.
  • Advanced technology skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Able to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner always with all levels of customers.
  • Sound knowledge of state and federal employee benefits regulations including SEC, IRS, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Family and Medical Leave Act, ADA, worker’s compensation, etc.
  • Detail oriented with experience auditing, validating, or modifying data for accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, MS Excel, and Word, PowerPoint.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 5+ years of compensation and benefits management experience with in-depth knowledge of compensation and benefit principles, practices, and regulatory requirements in a public company.
  • Experience working in a global public company required.
  • CEP, SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • LTI (Long-Term Incentive Plan) Equity experience
  • Experience with HR systems, UKG preferred.
