Job description

Title : Functional Support Specialist Level 2 (Manufacturing)

Job Location : Pune

Reports To : Manager - SAP Support India

Description : To facilitate problem solving and provide Level 2 support to

SAP PP & MII LES.

Overall Responsibilities And Duties

To support SAP Manufacturing domain (PP, MII LES ) modules of SAP providing functional support to the users. Also to support digitization projects & functional support.

New implementations, Rollouts, troubleshooting & general support.

Main Missions And Results

Participates during implementation at various sites in India
Provide functional first & second level support to the users
Help key users adopting FCS standards
Main bridge between Plant Mfg and FCS L3 team
Lead small projects independently with minimal supervision
Should have good hands on experience in SAP PP & MII (MES)
Participates in all test phases of the application(s)
Coordinates and performs end-users trainings
Contributes to adjust training documentation to site specifics
Plan and execute training programs (in coordination with key users)
Actively promotes better utilization of applications and document user

Procedures

Performs 2nd level end-user support

Receives incidents from the 1st level-support (Helpdesk)
Documents solutions/results about incidents/demands in the ticket
management system
Provides either remote (phone, remote-control) or in site support
If relevant, identifies and escalates problems to the site management and/or
to the 3rd level Competence Center

Leads the lifecycle management of the application for his/her functional domain

Collects and describes local requirements from sites (Requests For
Change)
Elaborates functional specifications and get them validated
Facilitates the establishment of priorities
Communicates decisions made to the users community

Ensures Continuous Improvement in his/her functional domain

Maintains coherence and consistency of data by executing periodic tests
Helps the functions take actions in order to promote best practices and
improve the data quality
Actively contributes to improving the quality and efficiency of the SAP
support chain

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has/ to be:

Any Graduate with a 4 to 6 yrs of experience in SAP PP & MII (MES) domain
Should have good knowledge in manufacturing processes.
Good command over english
Able to commute frequently within the region.
Good team player and ability to connect and influence global teams for any additional support for solving user issues
