Job Description

  • Lead the development of long-term strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Identify emerging market trends, newer areas for publishing services, and competitive threats to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Integrate business units to unlock synergies to provide all encompassing solutions to publishers and allied sectors worldwide.
  • Preparing the organization for an IPO in next 3-5 years.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the executive management team and business unit heads.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Set performance goals and objectives for senior executives and monitor their progress towards achieving key metrics.
  • Use of technology and processes to stimulate enterprise-wide innovation that contributes to organizational goals and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the company, including revenue generation, cost management, and profitability.
  • Work with Group CFO and develop and manage the company's budget, capital allocation, and financial forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion, diversification, and market penetration.
  • Evaluate potential opportunities for mergers and acquisitions.


The Successful Applicant

  • CEO/ Business Unit Head with P&L responsibility with portfolio of products and services and customers across multiple geographies and domains like e-publishing services, other KPO/BPO segments like Healthcare, Automotive, Financial services etc.
  • Proven track record in managing a business generating over INR 1000 crore in revenue with EBITDA margins exceeding 20%.
  • Skilled in overseeing businesses achieving 15-20% growth or higher
  • Overall experience of over 20 years in a leading e-publishing services company (like Straive) or other KPO/BPO avenues like Healthcare, Automotive, Financial services etc.,out of which at least 5+ years of complete business management experience.
  • Successful track record in growing and inspiring large teams, with proven ability to select, attract, motivate, retain, and develop leaders and team members.
  • Work exposure in the North America and/or European markets.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, executing and integrating M&A opportunities
  • Experience in working with various stakeholders like investors, industry, academia and other external eco systems.
  • Experience in front-end sales and back-office execution
  • Ability to manage global relationships. - Orientation of growing business at rapid pace
