Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis

In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the Regional COO and Functional Leader. You will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making and optimizing business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, monitor, and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to drive business performance and growth.
  • Take ownership of preparing accurate and insightful monthly financial reporting, while also managing the overhead allocation methodology
  • Strategic Business Partner:
  • Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, providing financial insights and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across departments, acting as a trusted advisor for financial matters.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Storytelling and Data Analytics:
  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.
  • Transform complex financial data into concise and compelling stories to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards using tools such as PowerBI to facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Digital Enablement:
  • Leverage digital tools and automation, including PowerBI Automate, to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for implementing new technologies to improve data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and overall performance.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a business partnering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex datasets.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data manipulation.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, with the ability to create visually impactful dashboards.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and automation, such as PowerBI Automate, to streamline financial processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling techniques and ability to develop accurate and reliable financial models.
  • Knowledge of G&A cost management principles and experience in analysing and optimizing general and administrative expenses.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure & Logistics and IT cost management principles and experience in analysing and optimizing expenses related to these areas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
