Omni Calculator is a Polish tech company that helps solve real-life problems using science, numbers, and equations, thus making rational decisions. Our main product, the web application omnicalculator.com, contains over 3700 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science. It is visited over 20 million times a month. Media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post featured our calculators.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Ad Operations Publishing Specialist to improve and expand the revenue generated by our traffic without sacrificing the user experience. We currently use a single partner agency, but we are looking to add more specialized partners and expand our in-house capabilities.

This role will manage the relationship with existing partners, working with them to maximize revenue per session while also identifying potential new agencies to work with for different ad formats and markets to further optimize our revenue.

Additionally, you will continue developing our in-house capabilities to work directly with SSPs for both header and open bidding with the aim of increasing the revenue share while also getting the ability to run more experiments and get better insight from data.

Our long-term goal is to have the majority of our traffic on our in-house offering.

The Advertising Operations Specialist will play a significant role in developing this strategy and evolving our ad capabilities within the business.

You will develop optimization strategies, collaborate across teams to align advertising with business goals, and use data insights for decision-making. Your evolution will not only advance the specialist's career but also enhance the overall effectiveness of the company's AdOps team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an ad publishing strategy aligned with the business goals for both our in-house efforts and with our partners.
  • Provide detailed and insightful reports to management on the performance of programmatic and ad tech initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilise data-driven insights in collaboration with the product team to optimize ad placements, ad formats
  • Identify opportunities for growth and revenue optimization for the publishing business.
  • Manage the relationship with our existing publishing partner to ensure we maximize our revenue per session and continuously improve the performance of ads placed on our properties through weekly and monthly meetings.
  • Identify and onboard new publishing partners specializing in different formats and geographic regions across
  • Troubleshoot technical issues impacting ad-serving performance in collaboration with our partner technical team
  • Continue the development of our in-house ad-serving capabilities by optimizing existing performance and establishing relationships with programmatic advertising partners, including demand-side platforms (DSPs), data providers, and ad networks.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards in programmatic advertising.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in publishing advertising operations
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Understanding of web-tracking and ad-tagging technologies
  • Experience with Google 360 Suite (Google Analytics, GTM)
  • Knowledge of ad servers and digital ad technology
  • Understanding of programmatic sales solutions (DSPs, SSPs, Ad Networks)
  • Practical implementation of advertising ecosystem providers such as GAM, OpenX, Xandr, Amazon, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Good command of English
  • Due to GDPR, you must be located in the EU.


Employment terms:

  • Contract type of your choosing - B2B or Contract of Employment
  • The first contract will be signed for six months
  • Salary (monthly):
    • EURO: 3000 - 4350 net B2B
    • PLN (Poland-located employees): 12 750 - 18 700 net B2B or 10 600 - 15 300 gross CoE
  • Work equipment such as a laptop or headphones
  • Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office location in Poland: Mikołajska St. in Kraków

Recruitment process:

  • An introduction call with the recruiter during which you will learn more about the position (30-40 mins).
  • We will ask you to complete a recruitment task.
  • A 90-minute call with the Engineering Manager and an external consultant to learn about your experience and tech skills required for the position.
  • A 90-minute call with the CEO and COO to delve deeper into your background and assess cultural alignment
  • Finally, we may ask you for a reference from your former supervisors.
