We are a distributed SoftServe team cooperating with a US-based customer who operates a grocery delivery and pick-up service in the US and Canada. The company offers its services via a website and a mobile app. The service allows customers to order groceries from retailers via a personal shopper literally in an hour.

Our expertise, knowledge, and dedication are highly valued by the customer and earned us the status of a trusted vendor. SoftServe is engaged in unlocking project activities, and we are looking for new talent to expand our team and work together on upcoming professional opportunities.

IF YOU ARE

• Bringing 5+ years of experience in Ruby development
• Strong in Ruby on Rails
• Skilled in GraphQL and PostgreSQL
• Confident with RPC
• Accustomed to working with a geographically distributed team
• Proactive and full of initiative
• Skillful at maintaining daily communication with software engineers on the client side at an upper-intermediate English level or higher
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Have shifted working hours from 13:00 to 21:00 Kyiv time
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs
• Create fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Work in an international environment, cooperating with teams from the USA and Ukraine
• Collaborate with a team focused on interactions and continuous improvement, following Agile values and principles
