Symetra has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Premium Operations Coordinator!

About The Role

The Premium Operations Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and processing new business and/or in-force funds received daily. The Premium Operations Coordinator is responsible for completing multiple individual and group task assignments across multiple divisions. The Premium Operations Coordinator must be able to reconcile what they have processed each day, including problem solving to resolving any discrepancies with little to no assistance.

What You'll Do In This Role

  • Review paper and electronic funds for negotiability, allocate remittance back up to accurately create entry into the appropriate system.
  • Reconcile funds processed to entries in the admin system and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with other admin tasks/projects as daily volumes fluctuate.
  • Be an accountable back-up to multiple tasks.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, able to organize and prioritize tasks and be adaptable to fluctuating volumes, learn new systems.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Work from home using virtual communication tools.
  • Written and verbal communication and work as a team.
  • Some accounting or bookkeeping experience and/or life or retirement product knowledge preferred.

Compensation

Hourly Salary Range : $ 21.00 - $ 31.96 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
