Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. while contributing to significant challenges in the healthcare sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Advising on Medicare Part D business strategies and operations.
- Providing expert counsel on Part D products, clinical matters, marketing, and regulatory requirements.
- Offering strategic guidance on Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) agreements, benefit implementation, compliance oversight, and monitoring.
- Navigating CMS rules, the False Claims Act, and the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute with expertise.
- Supporting regulatory advocacy efforts.
- Collaborating with colleagues across legal and compliance departments.

Required Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- Active licensure within your state of residence.
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed attorney.
- Familiarity with the Medicare Program.
- Knowledge of the Federal False Claims Act and Federal Anti-Kickback Statute.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant legal experience in healthcare.
- Experience with Part D, insurance, regulatory issues, or other healthcare matters.
- Previous experience providing strategic legal advice as in-house counsel.
- Experience with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to understand business problems related to legal projects and determine appropriate legal actions.
- Proven success in collaborating across a matrixed legal department.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to drive results.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Compensation
For residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington, the salary range for this role is \(122,100 to \)234,700 annually. Pay is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
