Description

Join us in Valencia, CA, as a Mechanical Quality Inspector Level 2 and play a key role in ensuring top-notch quality standards in aerospace manufacturing. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to a variety of challenging and rewarding inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
  • Utilize your proficiency with precision hand tools to perform inspections, verify measurements, and ensure compliance with complex GD&T requirements.
  • Ensure that products are free from defects, meet acceptable contour and waviness standards, and adhere to specified workmanship standards.
  • Check all visible part finishes, paint, and skin quality, ensuring they meet required visual standards. Confirm hardware cleanliness and absence of debris.
  • Ensure proper application of safety wire, correct fastener installation, and adherence to torque stripe requirements. Review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for completeness and compliance.

Requirements

  • Extensive background as a Quality Inspector, with hands-on experience in dimensional inspection of precision parts and complex assemblies.
  • Proficiency in using all inspection tools and interpreting complex GD&T requirements.
  • Ability to detect and address defects, validate assembly quality, and ensure products meet all standards.
  • Compliance with U.S. Government export regulations, including being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or eligible for required authorizations.
