Description

POSITION FUNCTION

The Business Development Specialist – Site Intelligence has the primary responsibility of ensuring timely submission of all documents and resources needed to secure new trials. A key component of the role is a mastery of site capability data. The Site Intelligence Specialist acts as an expert of the assigned sites in partnership with Clinical operations. Site Intelligence has general sales and administrative duties that assists with facilitating feasibility questionnaires and confidently disclosures for specific sponsors/clients.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize CRM reports for timely follow up on leads and pending CDAs/feasibility questionnaire.
  • Use of Devana as CRM tool to manage all contacts from industry and study opportunities presented to Centricity.
  • Acts in partnership with the Clinical Operations team members of each assigned site to ensure a mastery of site capability data and understanding of trial fit and site needs.
  • Cross-function with the Business Development Specialist – Site Engagement to determine site compatibility, resources needed, and enrollment expectations for trial success.
  • Effectively convey to all internal groups regarding deadlines, outstanding needs, requirements, for rapid completion of CDAs and FQs for all sites within the targeted therapeutic focus.
  • Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Maintain pristine CRM databases and reports.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Remain current with changes and use of project management software to improve productivity.
  • Attentive to detail, accuracy, timeliness, and excellence.
  • Support other business development needs and projects as they arise.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum: Clinical research experience preferred
  • Preferred: HS/GED

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical demands include but not limited to prolonged sitting, light lifting, standing, reaching, walking, and bending.
  • Frequently required to complete work on the computer in a seated position
  • May be required to lift light boxes (10 - 20lbs)

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Modern medical office environment or home office environment
  • Required to follow OSHA and CCOHS guidelines, in addition to other local healthcare regulations
  • Required to perform duties in relation to HIPAA, PIDEDA, and other local privacy regulations
  • Some positions may require overnight/weekend hours
