Chief Financial Officer at Instaleap

What would you do?

• Financial strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Instaleap's overall goals and objectives. Analyze and assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to the founders.
• Financial Reporting: Present accurate and timely financial reports to the CEO, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Regulatory and Financial compliance:
• Ensure compliance with international regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Provide adequate guidance and input to our advisors in all subsidiaries (in USA, BRA, COL and Spain, etc) and ensure their legal and financial compliance.
• Implement robust financial controls and systems to maintain accurate financial records.
• Lead due diligence process of future investments and M&A.
• Capital Management:
• Create, assess and implement the company's capital structure strategies, to optimize the balance between debt and equity.
• Explore strategic partnerships for international expansion.
• Investor Relations: participate in investor meetings and communicate financial performance, strategy, and future plans to stakeholders.
• Treasury Management:
• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operational needs.
• Develop cash management strategies.
• Financial Leadership:
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency.

🙌🏼 Your experience has been shaped by

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).
• At least 10 years of experience in Finance roles.
• Proven experience in Head of Finance roles in companies with +10MM ARR billing (at least 4 years), preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
• Proven experience in CFO roles (at least 2 years).
