TOSCA QA Tester (TOSCA, Selenium, Java, Healthcare, EDI 837) at Metasys Technologies

Client is seeking a skilled QA Tester with 7 years of experience in test automation using TOSCA, Selenium, and Java. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the Healthcare domain, particularly with EDI 837 transactions, and will be responsible for end-to-end testing across healthcare systems. This role requires excellent technical and analytical skills to ensure the quality and compliance of healthcare applications and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using TOSCA and Selenium in a Java environment.
• Apply knowledge of EDI 837 (claims) to validate data flows, system functionality, and overall business processes.
• Perform comprehensive testing of the entire application workflow, from user interface to backend processes, including integrations and data validation.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to create detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases based on requirements.
• Conduct manual testing when necessary, ensuring complete coverage of test scenarios, including edge cases.
• Log and track defects in test management tools, ensuring timely resolution by working closely with developers.
• Maintain and execute regression test suites to ensure system stability across releases.
• Analyze and validate healthcare data transformations, particularly with EDI 837 claims, using tools like SQL for database testing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to align testing with business needs.
• Document test strategies, results, and summaries for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in TOSCA and Selenium for test automation.
• Strong experience with Java for scripting and automation development.
• In-depth knowledge of EDI 837 transactions (claims processing) and healthcare data formats.
• Proven experience in end-to-end testing of complex systems with multiple integrations.
• Ability to perform manual test case design and execution when needed.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Q-test, or similar for tracking bugs and managing testing cycles.
• Strong experience in defining test strategies, writing test plans, and executing test cases.
• Experience with SQL for querying databases and validating data flows.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or any TOSCA, Selenium, or Java certification is a plus.
• Direct experience with healthcare providers, payers, or related entities.
• Exposure to Jenkins, Git, or other continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
